Storage and organizing can be overwhelming. A well-designed and well-constructed storage system will help alleviate the stress. Here are a few tips on how to approach the process so you will know a little about what to expect. At California Space Organizers, this process involves meeting with our designer, talking through your needs and concerns, developing a design and estimate, fabricating the actual closet system or cabinetry and finally installing the finished system in your home of office.
Meet with the organizing solutions designer
The first step is to meet with the organizing designer which can take place at your home or office. Be prepared to talk about what areas need organizing. The designer will bring samples of available materials, share pictures of similar projects and take measurements.
Design and estimate
A custom system will be designed based on everything that was discussed during the meeting. The designer will use a digital tool to show what the system will look like. The design phase also includes providing a cost estimate to the individual.
Installing the new system
Once the design and price have been agreed upon, components of the new system will be built at our manufacturing facility in San Rafael. The installation team will arrive at your home or office to install the new system, which should only take a few hours or a few days at the most.
